Earlier this week I went to Sally's Beauty Supply and bought some curlformers. I bought the Curlformers Salon Kit for $59.99 that includes 46 curlformers total plus the little stick to pull the hair through (I can't think of the actual name). The kit comes with 40 long and wide plus 6 short and wide curlformers. They also sell them in other sizes like long and narrow, short and narrow, etc. but only the sizes I mentioned come in the kit. I guess the size you get is determined by how tight or loose you want the curls. I figure long and wide will give a looser curl which is what I want.
I haven't used them yet but I'm planning on trying them out this weekend since it's the 4th and there are cookouts to go to. I also bought some flexi rods and end papers from Sally's. I've never used either of them but I hear it's a good idea so we'll see. I'll post an update after I try them out.
